Hikers worry bones are human foot
By Wendy Leung, Staff Writer
CLAREMONT - When hikers found bones along a Claremont Hills Wilderness Park trail Monday, they feared they'd come upon the remains of a human foot.
Lt. Paul Davenport of Claremont Police Department said the bones were taken to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office and a preliminary test showed that they were animal bones. Davenport did not know what animal the bones were from.
Claremont police received the call Monday morning after a hiker found the bones inside an old military ammunition canister used for the GPS treasure-hunt game geocaching.
Davenport said there was a geocaching sticker on the can.

nemrodek napisał(a):Ja znalazłęm taka skrzynkę. Standardowa skrzynka po amunicji, więc raczej kawał metalowego pudełka, ukryty wewnątrz spruchniałego pnia
